The staff of the Sheriffs’ Relief Association is saddened to announce the passing of Wilelmer Layne Jr., husband of Retired Deputy Beatrice Layne, on September 8, 2015.  He was a former Deputy Sheriff who eventually went to work for the District Attorney’s Office.
