The staff of the Sheriffs’ Relief Association is saddened to announce the passing of Velberly Nelson-Rodriguez, wife of retired Sergeant John L. Rodriguez Jr., who was assigned to Compton Sheriff’s Station when he retired in 2008. Velberly passed away on March 4, 2016.
