The staff of the Sheriffs’ Relief Association is saddened to announce the passing of Retired Sergeant Leonard M. McCarthy Jr. He passed away on October 20, 2015.

Leonard joined the Sheriff’s Department on July 29, 1970 and retired from Administration Bureau on September 2, 2003.

Leonard was a veteran of the United States Army.
