The staff of the Sheriffs’ Relief Association is saddened to announce the passing of Retired Sergeant John W. Harris II, on January 26, 2016.

He is the father of Deputy John W. Harris III, Carson Station.

John joined the department on February 28, 1972, and retired from Internal Investigations Bureau on March 31, 2008.

John was a Veteran and served in the U.S. Army.
