The staff of the Sheriffs’ Relief Association is saddened to announce the passing of Retired Deputy IV James D. Filkins. He passed away on January 30, 2016.

James joined the Sheriff’s Department on October 6, 1958 and retired from Sybil Brand Institute on March 31, 1980.
