The staff of the Sheriffs’ Relief Association is saddened to announce the passing of Retired Sergeant Dempsey L. Brinkley. He passed away on April 11, 2015.

Dempsey joined the Sheriff’s Department on July 1, 1948 and retired from Temple Station on August 17, 1975.

He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
