Sheriffs’ Relief Association is saddened to announce that Retired Captain Robert Mirabella passed away on April 20, 2024 from congestive heart failure at Kaiser Ontario Hospital.

 

Robert medically retired in the mid 1990’s after being struck by a pick-up truck, when he exited his county vehicle to render aid to a motorist whose car was on fire.  Bob was a member of Academy Class 138.

 

Robert is survived by his wife Kathy, his older son Bobby, who resides in Colorado, his middle son Christopher, who is undergoing cancer treatment, his daughter Kimberly, who is a Riverside County Deputy Sheriff and 4 grandchildren
