Recruitment Unit is hosting a Career Expo at Mission College to highlight the diversity of assignments and employment opportunities available on our Department.  There will be exhibits from various units, bureaus, and divisions throughout the Department.  We are seeking your help in encouraging friends and family, whom you believe will honor and respect what the badge represents, to attend this event.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take a written examination for the Deputy Sheriff Trainee position at 1130 hours.

 DATE:                          SATURDAY, AUGUST 20, 2016

LOCATION:                  Mission College

                                    13356 Eldridge Avenue

                                    Sylmar, Ca 91342

TIME:                           Career Expo runs from 0900 hours until 1100 hours

                                     Written exam begins at 1130 hours.
REQUIREMENTS:

All applicants must:

·         be at least 19 ½ years old at the time of the test

·         have a valid Class “C” Driver License

·         have a U.S. High school diploma from a qualified School or a G.E.D.

·          be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident who is eligible and has applied for citizenship

·         Good general physical fitness

 
All applicants MUST present a valid Driver License and must have a social security number in order to participate in the written exam.
