Bill Salveson enjoyed a 34-year career with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. His assignments as a deputy included HOJJ, Norwalk patrol, SEB, Organized Crime Intelligence and was assigned to the AOT staff at the Academy. As a sergeant, he served as Operations Sergeant at Lennox Station, OSS sergeant at Firestone Station and the budget sergeant for Field Operations Region II. Salveson was also the training lieutenant at Carson Station, and retired as the manager of the Sheriff’s Data Network. Upon retiring from LASD, he worked six years for the Panasonic Corporation as the project manager in charge of developing a digital video in car camera system for law enforcement, which became the Panasonic Arbitrator system.
