After dedicating 42 years to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department
(LASD), I have witnessed firsthand the invaluable support and assistance that the SRA provides
to its members. For over 43 years, I have proudly been a continuous member of this great
organization, which fosters pride and strength among our LASD community.
My career with LASD encompassed assignments in custody, patrol, Operation Safe Streets
(OSS), Narcotics Bureau, Homicide Bureau, Major Crimes Bureau (MCB), and the Task Force
for Regional Auto theft Prevention {TRAP). Throughout my career, I have always prioritized the
best interests of my fellow deputy sheriffs, and that passion to serve and support continues to
burn within me. In these challenging times for law enforcement personnel, I feel a renewed call
to service and am committed to ensuring that our members receive the support they deserve.
