Conrad Meredith

A native of Los Angeles who attended Loyola High School near downtown. Conrad holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

He has been employed by the County of Los Angeles for over 35 years and has served as a member of the Sheriff’s Department since 1999. He has since risen through the management ranks to become the first African-American male Division Director or Civilian Chief of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and is currently in charge of the Department’s $3.5 billion annual operating budget.
